Liz (Elizabeth
Mary) O’Sullivan was brought up and educated at Balloonagh Convent of
Mercy, Tralee in County Kerry, Eire. She trained as a Nurse at
Greenwich District Hospital, London and subsequently as a State
Registered Midwife at the world famous St. Thomas’ Hospital, London.
After a period working in London Hospitals she became a Sister.
She then spent 3 years working as a part of the commissioning team for
the then new Al Zahara Hospital in Dubai during which period she
obtained experience in all specialities including paediatrics.
After
returning to the UK she became involved in the recruitment area and

including
securing several NHS Contracts was eventually
sold to a leading national Nurses Agency. During this period she won the
“Business Woman of the Year”
award by She Magazine in 1986.
After
this she held a number of posts as a drugs company representative for
Ciba Geigy and Weyth, a telesales operator
for Yellow Pages and latterly as the Occupational Health Nurse/Sister
for Central Television in Birmingham. This post included such
miscellaneous duties as providing voice-overs and appearances in
“extras” roles on Central Television.
During
that period she began to suffer with a long-standing bowel problem which
was aggravated by the stress of divorce
and began to have colonic hydrotherapy herself which resolved the
problem. Realising the benefits of colonics
she proceeded to training as a Colonic Hydrotherapist under Dr. Milo
Siewert, the American Doctor who first
introduced colonics to the UK over 30 years ago. Dr. Siewert presently
practices in Harley Street, London, Jersey
and Dorset.
As a qualified Colonic Hydrotherapy Practitioner with over 10 years of
experience she now practices from 5 premises covering the West Midlands
(Birmingham & Wolverhampton), Worcestershire and Warwickshire
(Stratford-upon-Avon & Leamington). |
